Golden Trail National Series shows up in the VCO!

Golden Trail National Series Italy, a great initiative

2019 is a great year for mountain running events: after last year’s success of the Golden Trail World Series, the Golden Trail National Series Italy was born on Salomon’s initiative, which saw the light together with the circuits of France , Spain, the Czech Republic and Slovakia. As stated in the official press release of the circuit “The Golden Trail Series’ declination towards a “national” concept aims to attract all trail enthusiasts and athletes to a single national ‘super circuit’, with the possibility for members to compete in local level with many of the world’s best off-road running interpreters. All this by taking part in what are considered to be among the most beautiful races in individual countries.” The Golden Trail National Series Italia race calendar includes: TCE Traversata Colli Euganei – 14 April (21.6km, 1,200D+); Windows of Stone – 19 May (44km, 2.200D+); BUT Bettelmat Sky Race – 13 July (35km, 1.940D+); DoloMyths Run Skyrace – 21 July (22km, 1.950D+) valid as an international appointment as it is also included in the Golden Trail World Series 2019; Transpelmo – 1 September (18.5km, 1.300D+); The Final will be on 7 September 2019 at La Veia Skyrace (31km, 2.600D+). There are therefore two events of this prestigious circuit that will take place in the VCO, an area historically devoted to trail running and mountain running.

Saturday 15 June at the Ossola Outdoor Center there will be a day entirely dedicated to the Golden Trail National Series: it will also be an opportunity to celebrate the twinning between BUT Formazza and VEIA Skyrace, two events that have been able to carve out an important space for themselves in this sector, nationally and internationally. The program includes: at 3.00 pm the opening of the Salomon Golden Trail Series Village, with the opportunity to view Salomon running products and get valuable advice from industry experts; at 18.00 the presentation of the Circuit, with the presence of representatives of Salomon and BUT Formazza and VEIA Sky Race. All participants, subject to availability, will be given a personalized garment bag. The day is organized in collaboration with the Ossola Outdoor Center and Sport Extreme of Domodossola.
