BUT Formazza, one month left!
14 June 2018
From Finland to… Formazza!
2 July 2018Entries for the BT 50 km close on 1st July
The 2018 edition of BUT Formazza is getting closer and closer, this year it will be held on 14 July, for the first time on a Saturday, with four planned routes: Bettelmatt Trail 52 km, Bettelmatt Sky Race 35 km, Bettelmatt Race 22 km and Bettelmatt Mini Trail La Stampa of 8 km.
Bettelmatt Trail, still a few hours to register
On 1st July, registrations will close for the longest race scheduled for this year, the Bettelmatt Trail 50 km, (3,296 D+-, 4 UTMB points) which has already surpassed last year’s numbers and which therefore promises to be decidedly spectacular. with the new route that will take athletes to the Toce waterfall for the first time.
Entries are also going very well for the two now classic distances, Bettelmatt Sky Race (1,940 m D+-, 2 UTMB points), and Bettelmatt Race (750 m D+-); until 30/6 the odds will be reduced for both distances (€35.00 and €25.00 respectively), then from 1/7 they will rise to 40.00 and 30.00.
Entries for the BSR 35 km will close on 8 July, while entries for the BR 22 km will close online and at entry points on 12 July; it will be possible to register for the BR 22 km only on the day of the race, but at further increased prices.
The nations represented are increasing
In the meantime, the number of nations represented at the 2018 edition of BUT Formazza is increasing: in addition to France, England, Poland, Sweden and Switzerland and, of course, Italy, Finland, Germany and the Czech Republic have been added.
