BUT Challenge: there is time until October 1st!
21 September 2020Now it’s official: the 2020 edition of BUT Formazza, originally scheduled for July 11, has been cancelled, due to the COVID-19 emergency, which is still ongoing.
Registrations for this edition will be automatically refunded to all athletes who had already registered
Formazza Event, which organized the event, has meanwhile also already decided on the date of next year’s edition, 10 July 2021.
BUT Salomon Challenge
However, summer 2020 will not be without athletes “competing” on the wonderful paths of Val Formazza: Formazza Event is in fact launching the BUT Salomon Challenge, a social contest that will be held from 1st July to 20th September.
What is it about? All the athletes who want will be able to try their hand at the main BUT, record their performance and then share their GPS track and time with the organization of Formazza Event, which at the end of the event will draw up a “virtual ranking” with lots of awards.
Apart from the competitive aspect, the goal of BUT Salomon Challenge is to create an experience of sharing love for the mountains and for Val Formazza in particular: all participants can in fact send a photo and, if they wish, a small video while they are on the course: all the photos and videos will then be published on the BUT social pages.
There is no registration fee: further information on how to participate and the complete regulation will be disseminated on the BUT Formazza website and on the event’s social channels.
