A new, interesting initiative by BUT Formazza to experience a special day while waiting for BUT, enjoy excellent mountain food and listen to stories of food, sport and courage
Five great chefs on the national scene, a spectacular trail race in the Lepontine Alps and a “heroic” cheese because it is produced exclusively in seven mountain pastures in the area that reach up to 2,500 meters above sea level. These are the ingredients of the “BUT Gourmet”, the high-altitude picnic on the grass scheduled for Saturday 6 July, starting at 12.30, in Riale, in the heart of Val Formazza. An opportunity to taste the culinary excellence of the high mountains, from wild herbs to fine beef up to the “legendary” Bettelmatt cheese, cooked by great chefs, including two starred chefs.
