Special Women’s Day Promo!
7 March 2025
Until February 14th, the We are in love with BUT! promotion is back!
The countdown has begun: on Friday, February 7th, registrations will open for the 2025 edition of BUT Formazza, the trail running event scheduled for July 12th, 2025, in the majestic alpine landscapes of Alta Val Formazza, in northern Piedmont. Every year, around a thousand athletes from all over Europe take part in this event.
2024 routes confirmed!
As in the past two years, all races will start from Valdo – Formazza, at approximately 1,200 m, in the event area of the Municipality of Formazza. This location is highly appreciated by participants and is also logistically convenient.
The race routes are as follows:
- Bettelmatt Ultra Trail: 57 km with 3,150 m of elevation gain, passing through spectacular spots such as Rifugio 3A (almost 3,000 m), and the lakes Vannino, Morasco, Sabbione, Toggia, and Castel.
- Bettelmatt Super Race: 39 km with 2,520 m of elevation gain, following the first part of the ultra trail route up to Rifugio 3A.
- Bettelmatt Race: 22 km with 1,320 m of elevation gain, crossing the Nefelgiù Pass and the famous Toce Waterfall.
- Bettelmatt Mini Trail: 6 km with about 200 m of elevation gain, perfect for younger participants and those less trained.
No matter the distance you choose, the thrill will always be that of the “High Altitude Emotions” that only BUT can deliver!
