BUT Formazza, an event in support of Dynamo Camp
The runners of BUT Formazza will do good non only to theirselves, because they will live the Emotions at High Altitude that only BUT can give, but also to the others: in the 2019 for every participant in the Bettelmatt Trail 52 km, Bettelmatt Skyrace 35 km, Bettelmatt Race 22 km, Formazza Event will donate 1 € to Dynamo Camp, an Association that offers free Recreational Therapy programs to children and young people aged 6 to 17 years, suffering from serious and chronic diseases, to their families and to healthy brothers and sisters. Activities take place at Dynamo Camp and, thanks to Dynamo Programs, outside the Camp in hospitals, associations and family homes in major Italian cities.
“For us – says the president of Formazza Event, Gianluca Barp – it is a pleasure and an honor to support an association like Dynamo Camp; our event has grown, and we have felt the need to expand our solidarity projects: the opportunity to help the youngest thanks to Dynamo Camp has thrilled all the staff.”
Dynamo Camp is a project wanted and implemented by the Dynamo Foundation, the corporate foundation of the Intek Group; since 2007, Dynamo Camp has hosted 7,607 children free of charge for Soli Camper programs, 7,269 children, children and parents in family programs and reached 20,840 children in Outreach, thus offering Recreational Therapy programs to over 35,000 people; involved and trained 6,420 volunteers and today has 55 employees and 81 seasonal staff. The Dynamo Camp network includes 158 hospitals and associations throughout Italy.
Charity programs doesn’t stop here
The support to Dynamo Camp will not be the only moment of solidarity on July 13th: as by now a beautiful custom, the proceeds of the last 8 km race Bettelmatt Mini Trail La Stampa will be donated to the family of Marco Bacher, a boy of Formazza that after a serious accident suffered a few years ago needs 24 hours assistance and continuous care.
