Here we are: on the 1st of May registrations for BUT Formazza will open! The Trail will be held on the 10th of July, in the marvelous Val Formazza in the north of Piedmont (Italy). Three courses for all! The three courses in program are: Bettelmatt Trail, Bettelmatt Skyrace e Bettelmatt Race.

The challenge goes on BUT Challenge is not over! You can run our virtual race on the marvelous track of Val Formazza until October 1st! Go to the Golden Trail World Champ with BUT! BUT Challenge, the Skyrace track (35 km), is the qualification race, reserved to Italian Trail Runners, for the "Golden Trail World Champ": the new format that will be held at the Azores Islands from 29/10/2020 to 01/11/2020.

It's official: the 2020 BUT Formazza, originally scheduled for 11 of July, has been canceled, due to the COVID-19 emergency, which is still ongoing. Entries for this edition will be automatically reimbursed to all athletes who have already registered Formazza Event, which organized the event, has meanwhile also already decided the date of next year's edition, 10 July 2021.

In this moment of international emergency, due to COVID-19, we at Formazza Event, organizers of BUT Formazza, wanted to give a small signal: we have in fact donated € 1,000.00 to the San Biagio hospital in Domodossola, that is engaged in this difficult battle like all Italian hospitals. The donation was made through the platform www.gofundme.com.

During a press conference held on February 12 in Domodossola, the candidacy of BUT Formazza, Veia International Race and Rampigada to host the Sky Running World Championships that will take place in 2022, was made official. This is the first step necessary to bring to Italy, and more precisely to the land of Ossola, a very high level event which sees the participation of over 1,000 athletes from around 40 countries, with the best of international sky running.
